Perovskite (ABO₃) unit cell

This is the cubic ABO₃ perovskite motif: the A-site cations sit at the cell corners, the B-site cation sits at the body center, and oxygen anions sit at the face centers, forming a corner-sharing octahedral network around each B site. It's the same structural backbone behind both hybrid perovskites (MAPI, my Ph.D. work) and the hexagonal/orthorhombic oxide distortions I study now (TbInO₃ and related pyrochlores).
